Archeo Toronto Wedding | Daphne & Daniel’s Romantic Celebration

An experiential approach to visual storytelling

Daphne and Daniel’s Archeo Toronto wedding was, in the truest sense of the word, serendipity.

The word gets used often, but their story actually earns it. They met online a year before they started dating, then crossed paths again a year later. Even to the most cynical, it feels like fate.

What stayed with me was how genuine it all was. From their engagement shoot in downtown Toronto, where we shot on their film camera and ate tacos, essentially reliving their first date, to the small touches on the wedding day itself. Instead of table numbers, they named each table after a city they’d travelled to together. Nothing was there by accident. Every detail told a story about who they are.

That’s the thing I keep coming back to. None of it was decoration for its own sake. It was them, made visible.

One of my favourite moments was simply watching the love move through the room. The speeches, the easy way everyone interacted, the two of them constantly checking in to make sure we were fed. That alone tells you the kind of people they are.

There was nothing performing for the camera here. Just two people fully present, surrounded by the people who love them, in a day built entirely around their own story.

By the end of the night, it was clear this was a day that could only have belonged to them. Not because of how it looked, but because of how much of themselves they’d folded into it. Daphne and Daniel’s Archeo wedding is one I’ll remember for a long time.
