The word serendipity is used quite often, but the story of Daphne and Daniel is just that. Having met online a year prior to dating, to meet again a year later feels like fate – even to the most cynical. Everything about my time with Daphne and Daniel felt genuine, everything felt intentional. From their engagement shoot in downtown Toronto, where we took photos with their film camera and ate tacos — essentially, reliving their first date. To the simple details they added on their wedding day (instead of table numbers, they named each table after all the cities they have travelled to together), every element served a purpose. Everything told a story about who Daniel and Daphne truly are.
On their wedding day, one of my favourite moments was truly seeing all the love from their family and friends. Their speeches, the way they interacted with one another, to them constantly checking in on us to make sure that we were fed. Their day was truly a celebration of love.
