An experiential approach to visual storytelling

This Elora Mill wedding editorial lives in the space where tradition meets a modern eye.

Recently featured in The Wed magazine, this styled shoot leans into Victorian charm without ever feeling staged. The gown, the florals, the tablescapes, all of it considered, casual and sophisticated at once. The kind of styling that looks regal but never stiff.

Exquisite floral arrangements

Soft pinks and glimmers of gold sit easily alongside whites and greens. The Victorian-inspired arrangements blend traditional grandeur with something more contemporary, built from orchids, pink cloud roses, anthuriums, and more. The effect is romantic without trying too hard to be. It simply draws the eye and holds it.

Enchanting details

It’s the small things that give this shoot its warmth. Sparkling lights, gleaming glassware, dainty centrepieces along the tablescapes. Every element chosen with intention, each one quietly complementing the next. Nothing decorative for decoration’s sake. It all earns its place.

Talented vendors

A shoot like this only happens when a group of people who care deeply about their craft build something together. Ephemeral Events, a passion project from Catherine and me, is rooted in creating inclusive spaces where everyone feels welcome, and handled the event design and planning so every detail could shine.

The enchanting venue, Elora Mill by Pearle Weddings, set the stage for the whole affair. The Modern Bride crafted the bridal gowns and accessories, and Jeff Alpaugh Custom provided the tuxedos. Hair and Make-up By Amanda Zack brought out the natural beauty of our models, while Zoeyleungkk’s floral artistry added the magic. Red Bicycle Paper Co created the stationery, Devuyst Desserts crafted the cakes, and Special Event Rentals brought the rentals that pulled the atmosphere together. I had the privilege of capturing the visuals, while Kim L Films caught everything on film.
