Kyler and Milind’s Mount Alverno wedding unfolded over two days that felt both expansive and deeply grounded.
Day one opened in colour. A haldi and sangeet full of warmth, rhythm, and movement. Not celebration for the sake of it. It felt lived-in, like something passed down, shared, and fully embraced. There was an ease to it. Laughter, music, the kind of energy that doesn’t need to be directed.
Day two shifted, but never disconnected. Two ceremonies, then a reception that held everything together. Different traditions, different expressions, and nothing felt divided. It all flowed, like each part was always meant to exist beside the other.
What stayed with me most was the way they moved through both days with the same quiet steadiness. Never performative, never pulled in too many directions. Just present. With each other, with their people, with everything unfolding around them.
Even in the still moments, lying in the grass, tucked under the veil, there was a softness that grounded the whole weekend. As if the celebration could expand as much as it wanted to, because it was always anchored in something real.
A weekend that didn’t try to be anything more than what it was. And because of that, became something you could actually feel.
This is the kind of multicultural day I love to witness as a Mount Alverno wedding photographer. Two traditions, two days, one couple entirely at the center of it.
